SELECTED RESEARCH

A starting point for exploration

Selected for verified co-authorship, accessible original papers, and complementary research approaches: data-driven prediction, a literature review, signal estimation, and adaptive control. This editorial selection is not a citation ranking.

Electric vehicle charging

Multi-Domain Machine Learning Framework for Electric Vehicle Charging Prediction

2026 · Vehicles

Combines charging behavior, station infrastructure, and market data to classify EV charger types. The study compares XLM-RoBERTa, TabNet, and LightGBM; XLM-RoBERTa achieved the highest reported accuracy on the combined dataset (98.76%), while TabNet offered stronger deployment-oriented calibration. These are results within the study’s evaluation, not a guarantee for other locations.

Start here: Read Sections 3.5 and 4 to understand data fusion, leakage prevention, and model comparison before reusing the framework.

University campus microgrids

A Comprehensive Review of Existing and Pending University Campus Microgrids

2024 · Energies

Reviews campus microgrid components, renewable sources, storage, and optimization approaches. It compares geothermal, wind, and solar options across practical and environmental criteria, and identifies grid-connected photovoltaic hybrids as the most common configuration among those reviewed. It is a synthesis of prior work rather than a new campus deployment.

Start here: Review the component and configuration comparisons, then select a campus case and its local energy requirements.

Wireless signal estimation

ZigBee Signal Phase Tracking Using a Discrete Kalman Filter Estimator under AWGN Channel

2019 · Journal of Computer and Communications

Builds a MATLAB ZigBee transmission model with BPSK modulation and additive white Gaussian noise, then uses a discrete Kalman filter to estimate signal phase. The simulations assess tracking through mean squared error across signal-to-noise ratios. The reported evidence is simulation-based.

Start here: Read Sections 4–5 to reconstruct the estimator and simulation; the conclusion suggests extending the work to bit decisions and other modulation schemes.

Nonlinear control

Dynamic Lyapunov Machine Learning Control of Nonlinear Magnetic Levitation System

2022 · Energies

Integrates a variable-depth neural network with Lyapunov control for a nonlinear magnetic levitation model. Correlation-based parameter tuning and memory-assisted relearning respond to disturbances and changing reference signals. The authors report stabilization in the tested model scenarios; this does not establish performance for every physical implementation.

Start here: Read Sections 2.3–2.4 and 3 for the control law, learning logic, and disturbance tests before designing a replication.
